Job Responsibilities:

A nanny/governess who can oversee both the formal and informal education of the children is required, this involves helping them develop their language skills, liaising with parents to implement activities for the children to ensure that they thrive developmentally, emotionally, physically, and academically, accompanying the children to school events, and special days such as sports and annual events. Following the child’s curriculum and tutoring in appropriate subjects such as English, Arabic, science, and maths. Organizing outside activities such as educational outings, beach days, water park trips, museums, art galleries, theatre visits and sporting activities. Liaise with the parents and other tutors regarding objectives, progress, and development. Helping with the social and cultural development of the children, encouraging self-awareness and creativity, and promoting good manners and etiquette.

The children have activities scheduled in the morning and the afternoons. Typically, the morning is filled with Arabic lessons, play time at the beach club or at one of the indoor playgrounds in Abu Dhabi. Afternoons are typically filled with tutoring in English/Maths, sports lessons, or activities with friends. Some nursery duties will be required such as assisting parents and house maid in preparing meals and snacks.
