A large Food Retail Distribution is currently looking for an Area Development Manager who will be responsible in the below:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Business Plan
- To establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
- Must be self motivated in finding new business opportunities and distribution channels.
- Create and execute marketing strategy.
- Must have connections in the retail segment of FMCG – Food Products.
- Weekly visits in the Retail outlets.
- Build a good relation with the retailers.
- Responsible for target achievement of the assigned territory
- Closely work with retail outlets and purchase managers.
- Develop and execute new offline marketing techniques.
- Come up with unique marketing ideas.
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends.
- Plan and direct promotion programs in targeted markets. Manage sales promotion budget against set sales growth targets.
- Responsible for the overall sales strategy of assigned area and routes.
- Generate daily and monthly status reports regarding the overall sales achievements and also competitor activities.
- Coordinate and implement sales targets set by the department head, prepare sales statistics and related forecasts.
Skills &Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as Area Development Manager in Food Distribution – Retail Sales
- Can join immediately
- Good communication skills
- Must have a Bachelors degree.
- Analytical and structured thinker.
- Must have strategic thinking / vision.
- Must be able to work within a team.
- Must have Area development experience.
