A large Food Retail Distribution is currently looking for an Area Development Manager who will be responsible in the below:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Business Plan
  • To establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets.
  • Must be self motivated in finding new business opportunities and distribution channels.
  • Create and execute marketing strategy.
  • Must have connections in the retail segment of FMCG – Food Products.
  • Weekly visits in the Retail outlets.
  • Build a good relation with the retailers.
  • Responsible for target achievement of the assigned territory
  • Closely work with retail outlets and purchase managers.
  • Develop and execute new offline marketing techniques.
  • Come up with unique marketing ideas.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends.
  • Plan and direct promotion programs in targeted markets. Manage sales promotion budget against set sales growth targets.
  • Responsible for the overall sales strategy of assigned area and routes.
  • Generate daily and monthly status reports regarding the overall sales achievements and also competitor activities.
  • Coordinate and implement sales targets set by the department head, prepare sales statistics and related forecasts.

Skills &Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as Area Development Manager in Food Distribution – Retail Sales
  • Can join immediately
  • Good communication skills
  • Must have a Bachelors degree.
  • Analytical and structured thinker.
  • Must have strategic thinking / vision.
  • Must be able to work within a team.
  • Must have Area development experience.
