1- Assistant Cost Controller

Job: Full Time
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide the General Manager, Director of Finance and the Food & Beverage Department Head with cost of sales information needed to control costs.
  • Establish and administer sound food and beverage cost control systems and procedures within the assigned hotel to ensure that food and beverage profits are maximised, consistent with high standards of quality and service.
  • To compare details of quantities, unit costs, etc., on regular purchase orders to those on authorized purchase requests
  • To ensure the inventory items are stored and used in the controlled manner and according to accounting principles
  • Analyze each cost and come up with recommendation / alternatives to the management.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiar with Ms. Office and relevant accounting systems
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverages products and POS system
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to details, Highly responsible, organized & reliable
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team while setting and completing individual deadlines
