We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a structural design background to join our structural design team in the UAE as an Associate Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and designers to deliver high-quality structural design solutions for a diverse range of projects with the Property & Buildings unit.
• Provide expert-level guidance and technical support to the team, addressing complex engineering challenges, resolving design issues, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the design process.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of design deliverables, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
• Responsible for the technical design and delivery of the assigned projects from the concept stage to the final detail design and continuing through the project life cycle until the completion.
• Provide expert-level guidance and technical support to the team, addressing complex engineering challenges, resolving design issues, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the design process.

Requirement

• Chartered Engineer holding a Civil or Structural Engineering Degree.
• Over 15 years’ of broad, international experience in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Familiar with different working environments, working at height, confined space, marine / vessel-based projects, dive surveys, operational buildings, industrial plants.
• Expert in material technology; mainly for reinforced concrete but also steel structures, coatings, sealants, masonry (render, stone, plaster, brickwork).
