Associate Tutor in Introduction to Corporate Responsibility

 

We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Tutor for the following module:

  • Introduction to Corporate Responsibility, level 6
  • 13.5 hours teaching (1.5 hours per week: 6-7.30 pm in-person)

You will have knowledge of Corporate Responsibility and experience of teaching students within the FE/ HE sector and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).

Further to the person specification, the essential requirements for this role are:

  • Teaching experience in corporate responsibility, ideally working with adult/mature students within the FE/HE sector
  • A good understanding of the needs of part-time adult learners
  • Experience of and willingness to develop and utilise a wide range of teaching and assessment methods
  • Demonstrably effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills across a range of relevant contexts
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently as appropriate
  • Willing to engage in reflective practice
  • Willing to work closely with the module convenor to coordinate and lead the online and in-person weekly live sessions
  • Experience leading student group working and providing informal formative feedback to students working together on course-related activities in their assigned groups

Remuneration:

Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £55.70 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6
