Requirement’s
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 7 to 10 years of experience in MV, LV and Automation projects, team coaching and should be a good team player, commercial knowledge
- MS Office, MS project, SAP System detail knowledge, ABB HSE standards (Engineering and
- manufacturing included), conflict management and escalations, changing customer financial status and
- behavior
- UAE driving license must
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Leading implementation of continuous improvements for projects technical support for local or regional estimation support under the guidance of the estimation manager and local division manager ELSE
- Ensuring that the regional/ local portfolio of technical support is managed consistently, based on best practices and ABB Policies and developing estimation tools as per global guideline
- Supporting the estimation teams, sales team and global product team, ensuring that ABB Policies are consistently followed, developing, customizing and continuously improving standard processes and new development by adopting ABB and external best practices
- Supporting initial identification of pipeline of projects and technical of needs assessments, supporting in the design of a call for proposals and selection process, providing support to develop a productive use support strategy/methodology to support sales, including an approach to undertaking technical needs assessment of all businesses
- Ensuring that projects consistently apply contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements, building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Serving as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues within the ELSE teams, validating and supporting that adequate HSE measures are taken in the respective project operations functions and that an HSE culture is implemented and maintained in the organization
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, sufficiently staffed with skilled resources and directed appropriately, guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect reports within HR policies, overseeing competency assessments and ensuring that project staff is licensed and certified appropriately
- Leading and coaching the estimation team to achieve business objectives, i.e. to drive efficiency and effectiveness, improving time management, defining organization of the estimation team in coordination with the sales team by assigning project team members to projects based on competencies, customers and availability
