We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of 4 companies, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded, and all payments are made on time. In addition, they will work closely with external accountants to ensure that expenses are correctly recorded and that financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CPA, ACA, or ACCA and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This position is based in JLT Dubai.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate financial records for 4 companies

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Managing payments and transactions, including vendor payments and payroll

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis

• Coordinating with external accountants to ensure accurate recording of expenses

• Developing and implementing policies, systems, and procedures for efficient practices and record keeping

• Monitoring financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations

• Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and other reports as needed

• Conducting regular audits of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and data

• Hiring, training, and managing an additional accountant in the near future

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA, ACA, or ACCA qualified

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment and possess excellent English language skills

• Experience managing a team
