Job: Subsea 7 is looking for talented Structural Engineers with any level of experience for positions in the Structural Design for Operations discipline in the Central Engineering Department.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions
• Originates technical documentation, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.
• Involved with meetings/correspondence with Clients, subcontractors, 3rd parties, etc. in a technical capacity.
• Undertake analysis, design and engineering activities associated with platform and subsea structure construction, transportation and installation.
• Perform sea fastening design for jacket, topside, pipeline, spool pieces, tie ins, risers and umbilical transportation and vessel/barge deck strength check.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Required work experience related to structural engineering.
• Knowledge and experience of FEA software such as SACS, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, ABAQUS will get additional advantage.
• Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides (e.g. API, DNV, AISC); Client Specifications and Scopes of Work.
