The responsibilities of the role include
- Providing front line customer service, by telephone and email, to fishing industry clients
- Processing new client applications, fishing permits, and vessel registrations
- Providing first level technical support to clients
- Receipting payments and preparing banking documentation
- Preparing invoices, credit notes, refunds and accounting alterations
- Assisting with monthly accounting processing
- Assisting with special projects to develop or enhance processes resulting from changes to legislation and/or policies
The ideal candidate for this role will show
- Proven customer service skills and know how to deal with a diverse range of clients in a professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Able to demonstrate technical aptitude to support clients through issues
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong administration and time management skills
- Experience working with, and, interpreting legislation (advantageous but not essential)
