Client Liaison Officer

The responsibilities of the role include

  • Providing front line customer service, by telephone and email, to fishing industry clients
  • Processing new client applications, fishing permits, and vessel registrations
  • Providing first level technical support to clients
  • Receipting payments and preparing banking documentation
  • Preparing invoices, credit notes, refunds and accounting alterations
  • Assisting with monthly accounting processing
  • Assisting with special projects to develop or enhance processes resulting from changes to legislation and/or policies

The ideal candidate for this role will show

  • Proven customer service skills and know how to deal with a diverse range of clients in a professional manner
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to demonstrate technical aptitude to support clients through issues
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong administration and time management skills
  • Experience working with, and, interpreting legislation (advantageous but not essential)
