 Responsibilities

  • To manage the real-time monitoring of inward and outward remittances against local and international sanctions requirements, Central Bank Compliance requirements, UAE regulations and international best practice to ensure ongoing compliance with sanctions requirements.
  • To investigate any sanctions matches against the Bank customers’ base, blocked transactions and any other potential sanctions concerns.
  • Provide support to the Payment and Sanctions Screening team on sanctions and the alert investigation process.
  • Conducting the investigation of payment sanctions screening alerts and ensuring the necessary actions are taken.

Requirement
  • Assisting in reviewing new and existing client relationships to ascertain the associated sanctions risks as a component of the Know Your Client process
  • Escalating any real violation/exact match involving black listed individuals /entities
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining appropriate Management Information (MI)
