Data Protection laws require that companies retain a record of all business processes that use personal data (information about individuals). The objective of this role will be to work with the various teams in the business, starting with Bayut/Dubizzle in UAE, and help them to document their processes in a collective “record of processing”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create a record that will demonstrate how personal data is used in each area of the business.
• Interview business leads to understand their processes and document them using google forms and excel.
• Understanding and documenting the processes will assist in highlighting where there may be security vulnerabilities or where additional controls are required in the processes.
• Help each business to implement any immediate necessary controls.

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a final year student in UAE, 0-2 years of relevant work experience/internship. Bachelors or Masters program, graduating in 2022.
• Excel, Google forms an advantage, “customer service” skills also helpful
• Experience of data protection, privacy laws or compliance & risk is a plus
• Confident working with excel and google forms, compiling data, analysing outcomes
