The Electrical Foreman “Street Light” will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of street light electrical systems. They will lead a team of electricians and ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Electrical Foreman – Street Light will also be responsible for ensuring that all work meets industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• The electrical foreman is responsible for supervising and managing the work of electricians and other staff members on a daily basis. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring that work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Electrical foremen are responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards. They should also ensure that their team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• The electrical foreman should identify training needs and provide relevant training to their team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their work effectively and safely.
• The electrical foreman should be an effective communicator, able to provide clear instructions to team members and liaise with other stakeholders such as site engineer, project engineer and project managers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman electrician certification.
