To provide detailed technical support to the Engineering Projects team to maintain reliability standards in development of schedules and support specifications of configuration and equipment for new aircraft projects in Cabin, Inflight Entertainment (IFE) and Avionics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyse and Compile product data including product offerings, technical specifications and performance data during the course of aircraft specification evaluation review of product presentations, for finalisation of selections.
• Review and extract project information and supporting data from existing airplane baseline programs to adapt to new airplane programs.
• To assist Project Engineers in preparation of confidential specifications and tender documents matrix for new aircraft programs.
• Assess the study of new products and technology used in Pax Inflight Entertainment (IFE) and Pax Inflight Entertainment Connectivity (IFEC) and assist in IFEC specification preparation for Emirates fleet.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent): in Engineering (preferably Aeronautical Engineering) or aviation related degree Experinece in Engineering Environment.
• Proficient in engineering design software such as AUTOCAD, photo editing applications, with knowledge /experience in aircraft cabin engineering, preparation of technical drawings,3D modelling and rendering Advanced knowledge of computer software Microsoft Excel and database management on JAVA platforms Experience with using aircraft maintenance documentation and other technical data, ability to understand aircraft systems/components/power plant with good knowledge of aircraft drawings.
