Description:

The Finance Division provides timely and accurate financial information to key stakeholders while protecting company assets, both real and intangible, and ensuring the entity complies with state, and local tax laws from a financial and fiduciary vantage point. Serving as an indispensable partner on topics requiring economic, financial inputs and expertise, the Finance Division manages Accounting and Financial Reporting, Tax, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Treasury, Business Management and Analysis, and its internal and external audit partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control.
  • Manage booking and checking of employees’ expense claims.
  • Generate sales invoices based on company requirements.
  • Manage booking of B2B sales revenue, ensuring correctness and compliance as per FTA and audit requirements.
  • Responsible booking of online sales, maintaining and preparing a monthly Online sale – revenue schedule, identifying and investigating discrepancies, working with appropriate teams to resolve any issues identified and preparing necessary revenue adjustments
  • Responsible for processing and booking Complementary, Bulk, direct sales timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for booking barter entries ensuring relevant approvals are in place as per Company policy
  • Respond to and resolve customer queries pertaining to contracts or invoicing, in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the credit control team on a regular basis.
  • Manage accounts payable, booking expenses and making sure all accounts are reconciled also arranging payment with the treasury.
  • Manage booking and checking of Company’s Credit Card transactions and making sure all cards are reconciled.
  • Prepare month end and Year end schedules.
  • Assist with preparing VAT Return documentation and schedule.
  • Perform General ledger reconciliations
  • Assist and support with internal and external audits by preparing relevant schedules and maintain supporting documents
  • Handle other Ad hoc activities as required.
  • Recommend improvement in process and controls to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the accounting field preferably within Tech based companies, loyalty, retail or media industries.
  • University degree/Professional qualification
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with financial accounting packages
  • Strong communication skills in English
