A Healthcare General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of a healthcare organization or facility. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, overseeing financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting the organization’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Managing staff: This includes hiring, training, and supervising employees, as well as setting goals and objectives for the organization.
• Developing policies and procedures: Healthcare organizations need to have policies and procedures in place to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations. The GM is responsible for developing and implementing these policies.
• Financial management: The GM is responsible for the financial performance of the organization, including budgeting, revenue management, and expense control and ensuring the holding company’s policies are adhered to.
• Compliance: Healthcare organizations are subject to numerous regulations, and the GM is responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Quality improvement: Healthcare organizations are always looking to improve the quality of care they provide. The GM is responsible for leading quality improvement initiatives and ensuring that the organization is meeting its quality goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years experience in managing multi-specialty healthcare clinics
• Experience implementing growth strategies and leading operations
• Healthy understanding of financial and accounting concepts such as cash flow and P&L management
• MBA from reputable university
• Optional: ex-healthcare strategy consulting experience
