- Review, draft and negotiate trading contracts, banking/finance related documents and agreements, employment agreements, commercial contracts and other legal and corporate governance related documents.
- Familiarity and working experience with advising on operational aspects of banking and financing structures is critical, especially understanding impact of banking and financing documentation (including but not limited to bilateral loan facilities, ISDA facilities, trade financing) on various business units.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and opinions on legal rights and obligations of the Company and on any other operational and corporate related legal issues arising from various business activities of the Company and affiliates.
- Support the management of commercial and labour claims and disputes; co-ordinate and manage external legal counsels for transactions, disputes, arbitration, litigation and other legal proceedings.
- Oversee and assist with corporate secretarial matters including necessary regulatory filings for the Company and affiliates, updating and maintenance of statutory and corporate records.
- Assist with all legal aspects of M&A, joint venture and other investment projects, from due diligence work, to drafting of term sheets, and all other relevant legal documentation.

Requirement
- Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in a law firm and/or inhouse legal department.
- Qualified to practice law in UAE.
- Full professional fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
- Good commercial acumen and be comfortable working closely with senior commercial stakeholders.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills with high ability to interact with and work in cross functional teams.
- Able to navigate complexities of multiple internal and external stakeholders including senior leaders in the Company and elsewhere, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
