Responsibilities:

• Hold complete responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the engine room and any maintenance of machinery on ship powered by main propulsion machinery of 3.000 kW propulsion power or more;
• As key member of the on board crew, ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of vessel equipment and machinery in accordance with the International Conventions, Codes, Flag State Regulations, Class Rules, local laws & regulations, and company Requirement;
• Whenever required, act as MS (Maintenance Supervisor) as defined in IMO resolution A. 1079 (28);
• Whenever required, act as IHM Designated Person;
• As part of the vessel management, ensure the best performance of the vessel and its crew to achieve the projects requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in Oil & Gas Offshore/FPSO projects;
• 5+ years as Second Engineer on offshore activity;
• STCW III/2 – IV/2 required certificates, National CoC Reg. 111/2 and endorsement;
• Completion of all training and certifications as described in the Training Matrix;
• MOU stability course (where applicable);
• Mechanical Engineering.
