A Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing a company’s interactions with the public by implementing social media platforms’ content strategies. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online.

Job Responsibilities

• Grow and build the social media presence of Expo City Dubai and other accounts under the group.
  Contribute to the social media strategy development for Expo 2020 and its sub-brand.
• Develop and manage the social media call center.
• Develop plans to operationalize the social media strategy, demonstrating creativity and innovation in the achievement of strategic departmental KPIs
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Leads to ensure Social Media is effectively integrated in all international, domestic and business outbound Marketing activities.

Job Requirements

• BA/BS in Marketing, BIS, Media or Advertising
• Bilingual (Arabic / English)
• Proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversion
• Deep understanding of the UAE social media scene, culture and trends.
• Strong network with key players in the sector, especially amongst government entities across the whole UAE
