Job Description
- Email marketing: managing the creation, send and analysis of email campaigns from within our email platform (Mapp).
- Direct marketing: managing the production of print and promo items, ensuring offices have adequate stock of collateral.
- Content: Managing website content, adapting global content and creating new content tailored to the MEAI region, whilst working with SEO agency and global marketing function.
- Digital: Coordination of web advertising (including Google Ad-words, display ads, re-marketing, and analytics) and web development with London Marketing team.
- Public relations: liaising with various publications, calling journalists to pitch stories and monitoring coverage.
- Exhibitions and events: researching relevant events in MEAI region and assisting Head of Events to organise.
- Managing the day-to-day marketing activities of our MEAI offices; Dubai, Johannesburg, Mumbai.
- Formulating and delivering local integrated marketing campaigns for these offices.
- Localising global marketing campaigns for the MEAI region.
- Reporting local marketing activity to London head office.
- Budgeting for local marketing spend.
- Copywriting for direct, email and online campaigns.
- Managing temporary staff on data cleansing projects.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Marketing role
- Previous marketing experience in Middle East
- Proficiency in building, testing and scheduling emails using an email marketing platform
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask a variety of tasks and projects.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive, energetic and an eye for creativity
- Ability to proficiently write and converse in English
- Arabic speaker – able to translate from English to Arabic and vice versa
- Great communication skills and the ability to work within a team
- Experienced in the use of data lists and segmentation
- Key understanding of all aspects of the local culture and region is important.
- Valid passport with the ability to gain visas to travel within Middle East, Africa, India and Europe
- Previous marketing experience in all three regions: Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent
- Experience working within international B2B organisation preferable, demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and knowledge.
- Experience in Mapp – email marketing platform
- Experience working alongside sales teams
