About the job

We are looking for a reliable company driver to assist the company with all transport-related duties. The company driver’s responsibilities include dropping and picking up staff, collecting various packages, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours, travel-time and locations traveled to. You should also be able to perform routine checks on the company vehicle.

 Responsibilities

• Perform professional driver tasks related to external broadcasting (OB) and other dedicated vehicles in a timely and effective manner.
• Delivery of the vehicle to the described site in accordance with the technical requirements of external broadcast to ensure compliance with the instructions.
• Preparing and operating hydraulic systems and preparing the car for work, including stairs, railing, antenna, dishes, cables and entry, carry out the vehicle’s height off the ground (if required) and help deliver electricity to support the team.
• Maintain the vehicle, check fluid levels, perform basic on-site repairs, and communicate with the direct manager about complex repairs and maintenance to ensure high quality performance.
• Support engineers and technicians in connecting and dismantling equipment at the production site.
• Comply with traffic and safety rules while driving to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations

Requirenent

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or High School in General studies or relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years driving in the UAE.
• Holder of a UAE driving license.
• The skill of driving external broadcast vehicles professionally.
• Familiarity with the specifications and requirements of the main systems in television.
• Knowledge of institutional identity standards and methods of application.
• A good understanding of studio operations.
• Knowledge of logistics planning mechanisms and regulation of the movement of inventory and vehicles.
• Knowledge of the mechanisms for installing external broadcast vehicles and lifting them off the ground.
• Knowledge of the mechanisms of electricity delivery for external broadcast vehicles.
• Knowledge of Arabic and English.
