Aldar Education is currently seeking several People & Culture Support Assistants to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Operations Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools.
The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to people & culture team
  • Organize, compile, update department personnel records/documentation and update EDMS
  • Track and assist in the completion of P&C activities, such as: induction, probation, recruitment, employee changes and terminations.
  • Support arrangements for recruitment & induction when delegated
  • Providing assistance to all employees on employment-related matters
  • Assist in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resumes
  • Helps with interview scheduling and reference checks
  • Checks/types documents and correspondences produced by department
  • Assist with preparation and updating of people & culture reports, database such as attendance, new hire, transfers, separations and turnover reports.
  • Prepare passes, identification cards and badges for employees.
  • Performs any other assignments or tasks when requested or needed.
  • Assist in the maintaining employees’ files, both electronic and paper based
  • Assist in maintaining schedule and coordinating calendar activities
  • Assist in coordinating ADEK pass applications and processing for new staff, ensuring clarity of timelines and providing guidance and support where required
  • Assist in coordinating the visa and work permit applications and processing for new staff, ensuring awareness of requirements, in line with group-wide guidance and in collaboration with the HQ P&C and Public Relations teams
  • Assist in Creating and issuing offer letters, contracts, contract renewals and associated documentation in line with the group wide terms and conditions and policies
  • Support and assist in booking any flights/hotel and raising relevant PRs
  • Support and assist in updating and maintaining accurate data for On-boarding new staff and transfers
  • Support and assist in tracking the Health Insurance applications, renewals, cancellations and associated management for all school staff in coordination with HQ Public Relations team
  • Support and assist in issuing NOCs and other relevant staff letters (e.g. Bank, Government, Immigration, experience letters etc.)
  • Assist in the process of staff exiting as leavers and ensure all associated exit procedures are completed, including liaison with HQ payroll for the calculations of full and final settlements, and associated housing closeout procedures
  • Assist in ensuring all resigned staff have correct acknowledgement letter and all relevant documents collated
  • Participate in group-wide HR meetings in order to share knowledge, best practice and to ensure consistency within group standards

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate in relevant field
  • Previous working experience as a HR administrative assistant for 2 years.
  • Previous experience in the Education sector is preferable.
  • Knowledge of HR software (HRIS or HRMS and recruitment platforms)
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with UAE Labour laws (preferred)
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
