To date, our product portfolio includes VR (Quest, Horizon), AR (Ray-Ban Stories, Spark) and Home & Work (Portal, Workplace) and we continue to develop other innovations across hardware, software and social presence as we work on the foundational elements of our metaverse vision. This person will be responsible for influencing software product development and leading go-to-market (GTM) and in-market growth strategy as part of the Product Marketing Team. To be successful, the candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, communication skills, collaborative mindset, and software product launch experience; having worked in highly cross-functional, dynamic environments built to move fast, ruthlessly prioritize, and pivot quickly as needed to incubate future technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Influence product strategy and roadmap by partnering closely with Product, informed by customer insights
  • Define success metrics for products and core technology solutions, ensuring product market fit and long-term lifecycle management
  • Lead and define product positioning, audience definition and sizing, research, pricing, and naming for a portfolio of products and technologies
  • Lead the definition and development of the go-to-market strategy across the organization that is grounded in the customer journey framework, user insights, and market dynamics
  • Work cross functionally to execute and launch products and core technology solutions through end of life
  • Act as the point of contact for communicating GTM updates and reviews with cross functional leadership
  • Support growth initiatives for live software products and services, working with cross functional partners including Marcom, Partnerships, and Comms to meet acquisition and engagement goals

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience with inbound or outbound product marketing for consumer tech hardware and/or software for hardware products
  • Combination of strategic product marketing experiences and hands-on tactical execution
  • Experience with customer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM strategy
  • Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience delivering product launch results with internal and external partners including Production, Brand, Sales and PR
