Job Description

This role will sit within the Product Management function, as part of the EMEA business in Informa Markets. The team is focused on leading the EMEA business into Smart Events and ideating new product solutions for our core B2B markets. This role reports into the EMEA Director of Programme Management.

As a Programme Manager, you will work with a team of Agile Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Users Researchers, UX Designers, Data Analysts and more on the realisation of commercial outcomes through the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex commercial solutions, establishing, and controlling Programme constraints and scope as defined by the EMEA business
  • Work closely with the Director of Programme Management and divisional stakeholders to create divisional Programme roadmaps and co-ordinate delivery efforts across multiple teams, both internal and external
  • Manage risks and issues and take corrective measures to mitigate
  • Work closely with Divisional stakeholders to define Programme benefits
  • Manage stakeholder communications
  • Manage cross-Programme interdependencies and deliverables to drive Programme outcomes
  • Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with all customers including suppliers and third parties
  • Report progress at regular intervals to the sponsor and Senior Leadership Teams
  • Support teams through Agile Transformation and support in Scrum adoption


  • Proven ability in delivering global data and technology Programmes that build capability and drive performance
  • Significant experience of working as a Programme manager to deliver transformation activity in a complex data and technology environment
  • Experience in supporting change in a global, matrix environment, persuading and influencing key stakeholders
  • Ability to understand keenly the challenges faced by business functions and work seamlessly across different groups to drive business planning and execution
  • Comfortable moving between the tactical and strategic
  • Significant experience in managing budgets, resource allocation and formulating business cases
  • Experience working with and leading distributed teams
  • Certified Scrum Master, SAFe preferred
  • Certified Scrum Professional
  • Agile Certified Professional
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
