Position: Regional Crewing Manager
Dubai, UAE
As a focal point for the Svitzer Crewing Team, the Regional Crewing Manager will support our local crewing teams deploying our crews across the AMEA region.the Regional HR team is responsible for all phases of the new business cycle, including tender research, tender writings and costings, project start-up including establishment of new entity and organisation, go-live, handover and hyper-care.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that vessels in AMEA are manned according to legal requirements and SVITZER’s standards for relevant operational activities while ensuring crew statutory compliance across the region
- Assist in developing and maintaining regional guidelines for management of crew costs, driving cost efficiency in all crewing related expenditure
- Lead for regional Svitzer AMEA CSR activity, promotion, and alignment to group activities.
- Formation of the Crew Manual SOP, processes and procedures related to crewing
Requirements:
- Tertiary level education as minimum, degree level or formal maritime higher diploma preferred
- Demonstrable previous crewing management experience in a maritime environment essential.
- Deep Knowledge of the crewing / towage / maritime sector required.
