Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE
Description:
The Safety Specialist will provide specialist safety direction, advice and support to the businesses. This role is a leadership role to support the development, implementation and improvement of safety compliance, performance and culture within the Divisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identifies gaps and supports/ develops intervention plans where safety performance is not at an acceptable level
- Develop lessons learned for specific action implementation and continuous improvement
- Project management of safety specific initiatives
- Supports/Leads businesses on implementation of safety priorities and associated programmes and campaigns
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Safety management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Member of a recognised industry association is desirable
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in a Safety Management role in aviation, heavy industry such as oil & gas, mining, energy, construction or logistics with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
