Description:
Acceptance Solutions is Visa’s digital merchant and acquirer payment management business, with industry leading global processing connectivity, risk and fraud management, and payment acceptance solutions. The Acceptance Platform is a strategic distribution platform for Visa products and services, and a critical value-added service for merchants and acquirers accepting many payment methods globally.
Responsibilities:
- Drive efforts to evolve the overall Acceptance Solutions strategy and product investment prioritisation within the region, to establish business sponsorship and define execution criteria
- Manage all aspects of demand, prioritisation, tracking, reporting and delivery of CEMEA region funded product under the CEMEA Expansion initiative
- Overall responsible for End to End solution of specific and designated strategic projects. The person in role is expected to dedicate a significant proportion of their time on this and involve the team members to achieve the necessary outcomes
- Manage team member, initially one, to execute on responsibilities of the role / function
Requirements:
- 12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree, 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
- Successful candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years of business experience within a top tier payment gateway, merchant acquiring Institution or consulting company.
- While a Bachelor’s degree is required, an MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Technical:
- Advanced understanding of banking and payment card systems and processes
- Advanced understand and experience of the card present payment acceptance eco-system across the CEMEA region
- Sound knowledge of marketing principles, product management and merchant acceptance business acumen
