Responsibilities

• Participate in site surveys, collection of data, verification of drawings with actual site conditions, prepare site survey report
• Prepare Electrical system Adequacy reports for brownfield modification projects
• Perform designing/engineering work/deliverables as part of the Electrical team.
• Preparation of or supervision of preparation of drawings for Plant general arrangements, layouts (Lighting, cable routing, Earthing etc.) , power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, Cable Schedules, Interconnection Diagram etc. at detailed design level
• Substation design
• Develop electrical load list
• Experience in all aspects of power system design including power distribution, low and medium voltage, backup power generation, uninterrupted power systems, battery systems, grounding & Lightning protection
• Experience in lighting system design

Requirement

• Preparation of Electrical deliverables such as Technical Datasheets & Specifications, Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations etc.
• Perform Electrical equipment sizing Calculation, Cable sizing, Lighting calculation etc.
• Working knowledge of ECMS
• Prepare bulk material take-offs
• Vendors offer evaluation and Vendor drawing reviews
• Working knowledge of software like Smart Plant Electrical (SPE), AVEVA, AutoCAD, Software like ETAP, Dialux etc.
• Licensed or registered professional engineer (PE) preferred.
