Responsibilities
  • Performing analysis of building materials for use in construction.
  • Designing load-bearing structures or structural elements, such as buildings, bridges, or roadways.
  • Determining cause of structural failures, damages, and defects through site investigations.
  • Coaching intermediate and junior staff members informally or through formal presentations.
  • Working with the management team in developing tools and techniques for the execution of daily duties.
  • Preparing and checking of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
  • Producing detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of medium to large sized engineering projects.
  • Overseeing, supervising, managing, and mentoring junior structural engineers
