Description:

Responsible for supporting the economic development goals of Dubai by institutionalizing and driving the end-to-end investment attraction process (from identification, to engagement, to incentivization and conversion) to enable the successful set up of targeted foreign corporations in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead/assist the development of actionable investment and business attraction strategies and plans across targeted economic sectors / segments.
  • Oversee the development and continuous refinement of target lists of foreign companies across prioritized sectors / segments.
  • Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions to design image building campaigns and programs seeking to raise awareness on prospective investment opportunities, to generate investment/business leads and to migrate these leads through each stage of the conversion funnel.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop appropriate incentive packages to attract global corporations; ensure liaison with government entities and the Dubai ecosystem (banks, free zones, SOEs, VCs.) to ensure incentive packages meet the requirements of priority segments.
  • Keep abreast of global FDI and macroeconomic/socioeconomic trends, and anticipate changing dynamics to regularly optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
Requirements:
  • Successful track record working in private and public sector institutions
  • Proven ability to set up, lead and motivate investment attraction/business development and sales teams to deliver targets
  • Proven ability to network and establish deep relationships with individuals, corporates, business groups and authorities
  • Experience working with Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), wealth managers or investment banks
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics or any related discipline
