Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Description:

Wood is currently looking to recruit a Site Contracts Specialist to be deployed within a client Project Management Team in PMC capacity to assist in the management of a large EPC project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review EPC Contractors’ proposals for vendors and subcontractor
  • Review contract management and planning activities of the EPC Work Package with Engineering, Project Controls and Construction
  • Ensure that goods and services procured by EPC Contractor meet local regulations and content requirements relative to scope of work, quality and schedule

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university, whilst a higher degree would also be beneficial
  • Membership in a recognized professional engineering association would be highly preferred
  • A minimum of eigtheen years’ experience in project management and execution of major and mega Oil and Gas projects, of which a minimum of ten years experience as an engineering manager or leadership roles with proven track record for major and mega Oil and Gas projects
  • Experienced as a contracts specialist in Major Onshore Brownfield Project Management Assignments
