1- Solutions Delivery Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the single owner and point of accountability for end-to-end delivery of the assigned business IT project, ensuring effective planning and execution of all project lifecycle activities including (but not limited to) integrated business-IT project plan creation and maintenance, requirements gathering, solution definition, systems integration across all internal and external suppliers, risks and issues management, testing, production handover, resource utilization/time management, business change activities, stakeholder management and project communications.
  • Ensure successful (on time, on budget) delivery of assigned business IT projects through coordination with all involved parties including business stakeholders, other IT and Emirates Group departments, and external suppliers (including `off the shelf? system suppliers, service providers, offshore providers).
  • Responsible for evaluating internal and external solutions and service providers to enable delivery of the most optimal IT solutions to the relevant Emirates Group business unit(s), ensuring solutions proposed, designed and implemented not only meet the business strategies and requirements but are the right solutions, integrating the relevant external products and services, internal applications, and custom development (internal or external).

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • PMP Certification or other Project or Program Management qualification preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in IT project delivery experience, with experience involving managing large scale business IT projects (or programs) end-to-end (initiation through business implementation) using industry standard project/program management methodologies.
