This role will provide the bridge between organisational strategy, service delivery and communities, advising on communications strategy as well practical presentation of outbound contact as part of service delivery, overall strategic ambition, business marketing, community engagement and community empowerment.
Job Responsibilities
- Support departments in the office in developing and implementing media plans.
- Assisting in the implementation of communication plans and additional initiatives for VIPs and key parties concerned by the Media Office in order to broadcast them in various media channels.
- Support the media management of crises in terms of dealing with media inquiries and responding to them.
- Coordinating the meetings of the internal committees of the administration, preparing meeting minutes and supervising their implementation.
- Coordinating with various media outlets to publish and broadcast news stories.
- Building information bases for media professionals and their contact information, and updating the list on a regular basis
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media or communication.
