Position: System Engineer

Systems Administration includes planning, deployment and administration of servers, backup and restoration of business-critical applications and SAN storage management to meet the application and data requirements of the IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the IT systems and storage design is in line with the enterprise architecture.
  • Implement systems in line with the best in class practices to ensure high levels of system performance and availability for end users.
  • Install and administer email solutions and gateways to ensure seamless messaging system for users.
  • Provide helpdesk support services to facilitate smooth functioning of the Company’s business processes and resolution of issues faced by end users.
Requirements:
  • Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication
  • Should have at least 3-4 years experience in similar role
  • Clear understanding of DNS / DHCP Operations and Active Directory, MS Windows Operating System.
  • Knowledge of ITIL process.
  • Strong experience in MS Exchange, Sharepoint Portal Server, Blackberry Server and VM Storage management.
