Job Description

  • Facilitate the timely processing and renewal of employee visas, work permits, and residency permits, in adherence to immigration laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit visa applications, supporting documentation, and relevant forms to the appropriate government authorities.
  • Liaise with government agencies, embassies, and consulates to obtain necessary permits and visas, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Keep abreast of immigration laws and regulations, and communicate updates and changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding visa requirements, documentation, and processes.
  • Manage the renewal process for all necessary governmental licenses and permits, such as trade licenses, professional licenses, and certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for license renewals and maintain accurate records of renewal deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather required documentation, complete application forms, and submit renewal requests.
  • Liaise with government agencies and relevant authorities to follow up on license renewal applications and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Keep track of renewal fees, timelines, and other related expenses to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee visas, work permits, residency permits, and license renewals.
  • Organise and manage documentation related to visa applications, renewal processes, and government correspondence.
  • Prepare reports and maintain data on visa status, renewal timelines, and compliance metrics for management review.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with government officials, immigration departments, labour ministries, and other relevant authorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government inquiries, audits, and inspections related to employee visas and license renewals.
  • Stay informed about government policies, regulations, and procedures related to visas and licenses, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee visas, labour laws, and license renewals.
  • Continuously evaluate and streamline visa and license renewal processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

The Successful Applicant

  • UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
  • Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role, with a focus on employee visas and governmental license renewals.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, labour regulations, and governmental license requirements.
  • Familiarity with visa application processes, documentation requirements, and government procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with government authorities, employees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through complex visa and license renewal scenarios.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
