Founded in 2016, we are a multidisciplinary team of communications strategists, storytellers, PR executives, and creatives, building personal and executive brands for high-profile entrepreneurs, CEOs, and personalities by managing their personal communication strategies & campaigns, social media channels, keynotes on stage and media coverage. We seek a full-time Account Manager to support and help advance our growth in across the Middle East. We work five days a week from 9 pm to 6 pm. This is a hybrid role – 3 days are based out of our Dubai office, and 2 days are working from home.

Job Description

We’re looking for someone who has a minimum of five years of experience working in a public relations agency. You will have experience taking on a score of clients across a slew of industries, and advising and strategizing campaigns across complex, technical topics.In addition to years of experience working closely with content, videography, events, and management teams, you will demonstrate strong media relations skills, being able to offer clients earned media wins while proving yourself as a confident self-starter who is able to manage a range of accounts.You will need to showcase lots of initiative and strong communications skills, expertly managing up and down across multiple accounts. Additionally, you will act as quality controller on your accounts, making sure that team members are delivering high-quality outputs before final review from senior management.You will love all things PR and creative ideation – actively taking part in creative brainstorms and constantly sharpening your creative edge.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Manage media relations and maintain strong personal relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers across international, regional, trade, new media, online media, and social media channels.
  • Demonstrate excellent client relationships with global, company, and government leaders across various geographies and industries.
  • Hold your team accountable to ensuring that every single aspect of the Scope of Work each month and the ongoing tasks are completed with clear and strict deadlines.
  • Showcase a deep understanding of your client industries – such as fintech, FDI, healthcare, and more – so that you can better advise on topics that your clients/team need to be focusing on.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned elements of your client campaigns (ex: launches, press trip) to a high standard, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  • Manage your team and resources accordingly.
  • Oversee development of campaigns from planning and strategizing client briefs and Strategy Documents through to delivery with support from team members.
  • Ensure all written copy from your peers and colleagues is of consistently high quality as a result of practice, guidance, and excellent editing.
  • An interest in cause-based campaigning, and expertise in engaging audiences with those causes is important.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations, documents and spreadsheets, as well as use of project management tools, account management tools, and team management software.
  • Identify pain points faced by your peers in the US and Dubai and take proactive steps to train, walk your peers through the “how to dos”.
  • Take a leading role within intra-company communications. Showcase the ability to manage your own team – support and build the skill sets of those reporting to you – in a positive and productive manner.
  • Demonstrate personal and professional growth – for instance, through a variety of virtual learning and development resources.
Basic Requirements
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with the wider team during pitches and presentations.
  • Cool and calm when working under pressure, and able to anticipate – and solve – problems.
  • Ability to produce work to a high standard quickly and professionally with excellent attention to detail, and high levels of initiative.
  • Line management and mentoring experience.
  • Experience working on multiple global accounts, and/or with Middle East, UK, and US-based clients, would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of European PR markets and institutions desirable.
