To perform Risk-based Shari’a Audit and support the Internal Shari’a Audit Department achieving its goal within Emirates N

Responsibilities:

• Define the related areas of Shari’a non-compliance risk for all the financial activities subject to Shari’a Audit including the subsidiaries and international branches.
• Actively manage the Shari’a Audit Team by determining the work assignments, ensure team is accountable to its work, and act to remove barriers for the team.
• Ensure through regular, independent examination of activities that the Shari’a auditable entities (under coverage) are in compliance with Shari’a rules of Higher Shari\a Authority
• Ensure through regular, independent examination of activities that the Shari’a auditable entities (under coverage) are in compliance with Shari’a rules of Internal Shari’a Supervisory Board.

Review upon request the transactional and financing documents, marketing materials and Facility Offer Letters in order to ensure that they are in compliance with Shari’a.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Sharia or above
• Bachelor in Islamic & legal studies or above
• Bachelor in Islamic Banking or above
• CIA
