Based in the UAE our Infrastructure and Utilities division is looking for a BIM Modeler, to join our team. As BIM Modeler you will provide project teams with 2D and 3D drafting and modelling support. You must have experience in Revit modelling in Architectural discipline. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically AutoCAD, Revit-Architecture. You must have an experience working on CAD and BIM Modeling

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Support Project Delivery Team(s) in day-to-day 2D and 3D drafting and modelling activities for Structural discipline.
  • Develop 3D/2D dimensional models required for drawing preparation, clash reporting and presentation aligned with the project LOD requirements and modelling standards.
  • Extract 3D models for clash analysis and schedule review.
  • Ensure coordination of all model interfaces with designers and engineers of other disciplines.
  • Ensure all Models, drawings and deliverables are checked to comply with project and company quality standards and BIM requirements.
  • Prepare the engineering drawings from the model that comprises of basic arrangements, layouts, details, sections etc.
  • Create Revit families and Perform Clash checks.

 

 

Here’s What You’ll Need:

As a successful candidate you should preferably have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture or 3 years Diploma is a must. In addition, you must also have the following.

  • Must be competent in Revit 3D Modeling.
  • Must be familiar with Steel and Concrete buildings/structures.
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling of water structures like pumping stations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of General BIM Model requirements (i.e., LOD, Naming convention, parametric modelling, etc.).
  • Understanding of BIM Template and processes, BIM Standards and workflow.
  • Use of Common Data Environment for information exchange.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team.
  • Experience working in the gulf region in particular the UAE and KSA would be an advantage.
  • Essentials: (Revit Structure, Architecture, Navisworks, BIM 360, Project Wise & AutoCAD).
  • Preferable: (Dynamo & Sketchup).
