Job Description

As an Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible of research, financial/ credit analysis, financial modeling and assisting senior team members in originating and executing syndications, DCM & ECM transactions. The analyst will be responsible for preparing pitches, teasers, financial models and info memos and BRC/AC memos

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist seniors in execution of prescribed no deals annually including financial modelling, bank presentations, teasers, information memorandums and approval memos
  • Develop robust financial models capable of analyzing deal and provide credit / valuation metrics with flexibility to run sensitivities
  • Prepare and produce agreed no of  customer proposals, pitches and term sheets
  • Create deal files upon deal closure and ensure file completeness
  • Assist senior team members to originate and execute  syndications, DCM and ECM transactions (Sukuk, Syndications, PF, structured finance, IPOs and M&A deals)
  • Prepare customer proposals, pitches and term sheets
  • Conduct detailed financial / credit analysis on prospective clients and liaise with clients and lawyers for DD and execution
  • Develop robust financial models capable of analyzing deal and provide credit / valuation metrics with flexibility to run sensitivities
  • Prepare credit review and other internal approval memos / presentations
  • Preparing offering circulars and information memoranda
  • Preparing term sheets
  • Manage deal disbursement in coordination with concerned units of bank
  • Maintain deal intelligence and industry research updates to facilitate deal origination, pricing/ comparables and industry intelligenc
  • Assist senior team members originate deals across products by creating strong pitches backed by research, pricing & real comparables
  • Review industry & company research databases to highlight ideas for origination
  • Work closely with members of WBG/PB to review and analyse cases presented to seniors
  • Maintain/Develop with counterparts, lawyers, customers & internal department to facilitate responsibilities
  • Familiar with PPM of CFIB & credit policy
  • Maintain files/ help in maintaining satisfactory rating of Sharia/Business audit
