Job Description

  • Define master planning standards and guidelines based on leading market practices and applicable laws & regulations, such as land use, zoning, elevations, utility, etc.
  • Manage the different stages of master planning, from pre-concept to concept to detailed master planning activities.
  • Actively collaborate with the Commercial function to take part of the master planning procurement process and provide key inputs as necessary to get relevant suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain policies, processes, procedures and systems that cover Development activities, ensuring that all internal functions and any relevant stakeholders adhere to them.
  • Manage the development strategies and processes across the various stages of the projects’ lifecycles.
  • Develop concept and business cases for all new real estate development opportunities.
  • Work with the Investment function to prepare feasibility studies for new development opportunities.
  • Develop design guidelines and standards for the various projects, in line with leading practices and applicable laws & regulations.
  • Manage all the design activities, covering landscape & public realm, architecture, engineering design and interior designs, for all asset types (residential, commercial, hospitality).
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on the architecture and engineering of concept and detailed designs developed.
  • Establish the contractual & commercial framework and guidelines for the Development & Design function, in line with the wider commercial frameworks and policies set by the central Commercial / Procurement function.
  • Act as the focal point with the Design team for any commercial-related matter to ensure that the company’s interests are safeguarded at all times

The Successful Applicant

  • 15 years in real estate development, particularly in offices or commercial developments, with experience in feasibility, due diligence design and development management, investment, real estate market analysis and real estate product positioning.
  • Experience in managing and dealing with program and project management companies, consultants, architects, operators, subcontractors, etc.
  • Bachelors Degree in Real Estate Development, Architecture, Engineering or Construction
