Guardian Industries is a global company headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA. Guardian companies manufacture high-performance float, coated and fabricated glass products for architectural, residential, interior, transportation, and technical glass applications, and high-quality chrome-plated and painted plastic components for the automotive and commercial truck industries.

Job Responsibilities:

Traditional IT systems knowledge, mostly Process Network oriented (process network and security infrastructure, plant operational printers, anti-virus and patching, wired and wireless networks etc.)
Cybersecurity
Bridge among the different teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams
Propose new solutions based on the local experience, for future enhancements
Testing, monitoring and troubleshooting abilities
Local vendors relationship
Physical assistance for preventive and reactive maintenance
Be able to proceed to change any of those during Failures
Preventive/Predictive maintenance windows
Planned technology changes:

Job Requirements:

Background in IT or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in the administration of a network of servers, desktop systems and communication devices
Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies, esp. Windows Server
Working knowledge of Cisco and VMware is very nice to have
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure
Fluent in English
