Emirates NBD Asset Management established itself as one of the leading asset management firms in the region. Given the impressive track record of our funds and the range of products the profile of the unit has attracted the attention of not only regional but international investor. At this stage we need a dedicated resource for institutional coverage to cope with the increased work load of queries, relationship management and attracting fresh capital from institutional clients from both within and outside the region.

Responsibilities:
  • The sales manager will be expected to pitch our product range to private banking and institutional clients across the region as well as internationally. They will be expected to come up with a clear business plan and strategy for attracting fresh capital and executing it.
  • The position holder will need to ensure that they strike the correct balance to drive revenue not only from a personal accountability point of view but meeting the unit’s budget.
  • The sales manager needs to cover specific teams within Emirates NBD Private Banking, providing support on Asset Management products and driving the team to generate Asset Under Management and revenues.
  • The job holder will be expected to study the demands of their client base and make recommendations in terms of future product launches or amendments to the current range to drive future growth.
  • The job holder will be given some of the existing clients to manage since the unit has expanded massively in the last couple of years and needs more people to cover existing clients, in addition to seeking fresh capital. They will be expected to offer the highest level of service to maintain the goodwill that currently exists towards Emirates NBD Asset Management in the marketplace.
Requirements:
  • Degree from a reputable university
  • Financial markets related qualifications (CFA/CISI) is desirable
  • 6-8 years of experience in either a sales or investment related role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people
