Job Description

Provide assistance to the Project Owner in implementing ADIB Payment transformation project.Lead the payments transformation program from business and operations and interact with the ADIB IT PM team for program delivery as per Plan.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor the business performance of Payments transformation program from an operations view
  • Project Management skills to support own team in compliance and banking policies, procedures and regulatory directives related to Cash Products
  • Regularly evaluate the operational processes and recommend to line management, suitable changes to improve efficiency and controls
  • Take part in unit strategic initiatives e.g., system implementations, change process and other assignments given to you from time to time
  • Controls & risk should be top priority to avoid ops losses as well franchise issues
  • System working & implementation of system experience, particularly Trade Management, Channels etc.
  • Ensure all ADIB policy guidelines should be adhered with while execution of routine transactions
  • Commercial awareness of changes in customers, products & services, technology, risk and financial services practice to support innovative solutions.
  • Ability to recognize future opportunities and threats.
  • Closely coordinate with overseas branches and extend strong hand holding to them in routine transactions
  • Achieve department goals and objectives as agreed and continuously monitor performance against these identified goals.

Job Requirements

  • Banking Operations Experience.
  • 8-10 years and at least 3-4 years in similar transformation/project role within Payment area.
  • Payments, Cash Management & General Banking expertise & SWIFT, preferably Islamic banking
  • Risk & Controls knowledge around Payments, Cash Management and General Banking Products
  • Implemented Transaction Banking projects and full understanding of Transaction Banking business
  • System knowledge / experience working in system implementation
  • Computer skills – MS
  • Leadership and strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and strategic skills with strong presentation skills
  • Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement
