Due to a significant increase in the number of employees commencing their journey with us in our region, this newly created role will help Jacobs deliver its strategy across multiple markets and shape the surrounding nations with some of the world’s most ambitious and iconic projects.

As part of our regional accounting team, you will work closely with the Corporate Controller covering payroll processing for our Middle East employees to ensure paying our people is a seamless process.

You will be processing payroll via our Cordis Payroll System, calculating overtime and employee’s benefits as per labor law, validating Oracle contracts, as well as monthly payroll payments. You will be processing and reconciling payroll for a large number of employees, so experience working with payroll within large corporations will be essential.

You will ensure that payroll is processed timely and accurately in line with Wage Protection Systems, process payroll journals and general ledger entries for costs and accruals.

 

 

 

 Here’s What You’ll Need: 

As a successful candidate, you must hold a professional degree in Accountancy or equivalent and be well rounded and experienced in Oracle financials and Human Resource Information Systems.

You must have proficient knowledge on labor law and will be dealing with employer/employee benefits across multiple regions. You will come with a General Ledger accounting and reconciliation background with familiarization with Wage Protection Systems, regulations and pensions.
