To produce quality software and systems – undertaking a defined role, decided on a project by project basis by the line Manager in collaboration with the relevant department Specialist – IT. The role maybe a combination of activities involving: software design and development, database design, business and process analysis.

The role would move from software development through the activities listed above towards analysis and design and will be given a terms of reference sheet relating to the specific requirements for the role and project identified by the Project Manager/User
