Description:

  • Inprocess quality control position
  • Ensure that the quality plan is adequate and sampling plan is enough to ensure the defect deduction
  • Ensure material traceability on the production floor/incoming/finishing goods
  • Help percolate quality culture in progress
  • Assess defects and develop mechanisms to eradicate them by means of checklists, process improvements, procedure changes, work instruction changes etc.,
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, training programs etc.,
  • Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Work closely with production engineers/other departments to help close CAPA in time, analyze detect to arrive at the right root cause, correct timely curative actions, corrective and preventive actions
  • Prepare and submit reports to quality manager, quality in charge
  • Face external audits, conduct internal audits
  • Maintain and update quality inspector records
  • Accomplishes quality department goals and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Perform all daily inspection and tests of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site
  • Carry out inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan
  • Co-ordinate with the consultant’s representative and department In-Charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report
  • Report to the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI
  • Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project
  • Active participation in ISO internal as well as external audits
  • A team player, who accepts additional responsibilities to cover for colleagues while they are away
  • Other tasks as assigned by the department head & Incharge
