Description

Assistant engineers work on a range of engineering projects and report to the senior engineer. They may be employed in civil, chemical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering fields and typically assist with the design, development, and evaluation of processes and products.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising construction works, e.g. rail welding and installation of track works. Relevant to maintenance and operation rules, procedures and instructions (specifications, quality standards, quantity measurements, train safety, construction methodology and risk control);
• Controlling the implementation of track alignment, track and turnout installations, executed and supervised by others;
• Asist the QA/QC process of the works and perform QC audits and site surveillance procedures as per the contract;
