Description:

We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Performance & Planning function within our Operations department. This person is responsible for building the performance strategy for the market and driving operational efficiency and performance/.

Responsibilities:

Long term strategy – Ability to build out comprehensive plan of the market (1 year and beyond) and effectively identify and quantify trade-offs required to achieve targets
Using analytics to improve the delivery network – Increase the availability, reliability and efficiency of the network
Matching supply and demand – Using a range of measures to forecast both consumer demand and rider supply distribution, ultimately ensuring that there are enough riders in the right place at the right time, at all times.
Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement – Identifying, prioritising, managing, and executing projects (with end-to-end ownership) to improve operational performance in line with business priorities (e.g. target calibration, zone review, network load analysis)
Experimentation – Running tests to explore creative solutions and processes (e.g. a/b testing, process mapping, automation of internal processes)
Working with stakeholders from other departments – Ensuring coordination with operational changes and cross-functional efforts

Requirements:

Problem solving – Ability to diagnose and dissect highly complex problems in network efficiency, and solving them effectively and efficiently
Effective communicator / Excellent stakeholder manager – Able to communicate ideas in a clear, concise manner to the relevant stakeholders. Also able to both offer and critique ideas and opinions. Set and manage expectations with cross functional stakeholders on high stakes, multi disciplinary projects
Track record of ‘getting things done’ – Willingness to get your hands dirty, and know when you have enough insight to make a call and apply the 80 / 20 rule to execute ‘on-the-fly’
Inquisitive – Infectiously curious, thoughtful and able to question the status-quo
Resilient – Strong work ethic alongside an ability to tackle and bounce back from complex challenges and issues
5+ years of experience working in fast-paced environments
