To design, develop, implement, and maintain technology solutions and products that support flydubai working in a cross functional team with a focus on problem resolution and adopting flydubai software standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops software solutions that complies with flydubai coding standards and technical design and ensures the output is a well-designed, testable code.
  • Work with Software Technical Engineers to understand the functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and technical design
  • Liaises with business analysts to understand the business scenarios and create a prototype.
  • Develops software verification plans and quality assurance procedures and executes unit test cases, debugs, and fixes the defects.
  • Integrates software components into a fully functional software system and performs system integration tests (SIT) and executes user acceptance test cases.
  • Documents the user manual, product release and technical documentation for software maintenance.
  • Provides ongoing support and guidance to the business post go live and provide technical support, evaluating any user feedback for future releases/fixes.
  • Ensures the development cycle meets the software development KPIs, in terms of productivity, defect density and system performance.
  • Collaborate within the software engineering community, share experiences, learn new frameworks, and develop new skills
  • Works with talent management team to upgrade software development skills. Sets targets to achieve periodic certifications and be abreast with new tools and technologies
