The Senior Social Media Content Writer will be responsible for writing fresh, compelling, and relevant content for collateral, social and client marketing campaigns, digital content, and event-related communications. The Content Writer will be the primary author and editor for a wide variety of materials on a daily basis. A strong candidate will have a proven track record as a creative storyteller and content creator, with a strong understanding of the brand’s tone, voice, and how to convey both across marketing channels. The role will collaborate and work closely with Social Media, Influencer Marketing, and Creative Department leaders to provide content development that aligns with the company as well as the client’s objectives and strategies

Responsibilities:
✓ Create global content and highly support in developing a content strategy that meets the marketing short and long-term objectives.
✓ Work closely with the Social Media Manager and collaborate with the Creative and Influencer team to write, edit, and proof content for integrated digital campaigns which shall include promotional, publicity, advertisements, mission, editorial, articles, and instructional.
✓ Understand and research the competitive landscape for each campaign and service as part of campaign/content development.
✓ Proofread materials for accuracy, and correct use of grammar, punctuation, and content.
✓ Ensure all documents and materials meet established content standards.
✓ Demonstrate critical thinking and perspective when vetting creative ideas;
✓ Makes sound, timely decisions about the need to change work in progress and report to the Head of the Department

Requirement
- ✓ Proven 5+ years of experience in content writing for social media and other digital platforms.
- ✓ Marketing & Agency background is a MUST.
- ✓ Experience in writing social media content for government clients and big corporates.
- ✓ Excellent English Communication skills and a storyteller.
- ✓ Excellent writing skills in English, knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage.
- ✓ Highly organized, with attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- ✓ Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- ✓ BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
